Description

Lead the planning, execution, and finalization of IT projects within defined timelines and budgets.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute project tasks, managing resources including state personnel and third-party vendors.
• Consult with business users and agency management to gather requirements and ensure alignment.
• Manage project scope, quality, and performance standards while assessing risks and implementing change control.
• Lead IT project teams through mentoring, coaching, and providing technical guidance.
• Report project outcomes and risks to management, escalating issues according to the work plan.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of project management experience covering agile processes, financial management, and resource management.
• 3+ years of experience running large, complex projects with multiple dependencies.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and platforms including Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.
• Experience with Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC) using Scrum and Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS models.
• Familiarity with .NET and Java software environments.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Project Planning, and Google Workspace.
• Ability to manage cloud governance frameworks and best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the public sector or Human Services.
• PMP certification.
