Description

Lead data management efforts for the Center for Acute Disease Epidemiology (CADE) within the Iowa Department of Health and Human Services in Des Moines, IA.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and educate the state's COVID data cleaning team.
• Oversee data management processes for large quantities of pandemic-related data.
• Clean and prepare datasets for downstream analysis.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure data integrity.
• Generate meaningful insights from large datasets.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Proven experience in data cleaning and preparation.
• Expertise in data management and analysis.
• Knowledge of data visualization techniques.
• 4+ years of experience in conflict resolution.
• 4+ years of experience in analytical and organizational roles.
• 4+ years of experience in interpersonal, written, and oral communication.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.
• Experience working on a COVID data cleaning team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with CADE protocols and workflows.
