Description

You will manage the data cleaning and preparation efforts for the Center for Acute Disease Epidemiology (CADE) COVID data team.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and educate the state’s COVID data cleaning team.
• Oversee data management efforts involving large datasets generated by the COVID-19 pandemic.
• Manage the cleaning and preparation of data for downstream analysis.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to ensure data integrity.
• Lead the team through conflict resolution and organizational oversight.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data management and analysis.
• Proven experience in data cleaning and preparation.
• Direct previous experience working on a COVID data cleaning team.
• Ability to work with large datasets to generate meaningful insights.
• Strong leadership and conflict resolution skills.
• Proficiency in data visualization techniques.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines.
