Description

You will manage mechanical contracting projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring financial health, schedule adherence, and quality standards. You will oversee Assistant Project Managers and lead client relationships to drive project success.

Responsibilities

• Manage project financials, budgets, and profitability while training and developing Assistant Project Managers.
• Oversee pre-construction activities including client relationship management, estimate review, and contract finalization.
• Direct construction execution by managing subcontractors, tracking labor and equipment, and conducting quality control inspections.
• Handle procurement, subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, RFIs, and invoicing processes.
• Lead project closeout by coordinating punch lists, O&M manuals, as-builts, and final pay applications.

Required Skills

• 5–10 years of experience in mechanical contracting project management.
• Strong financial management skills with the ability to oversee budgets and profitability.
• Experience managing Assistant Project Managers and field teams.
• Knowledge of construction scheduling, procurement, and contract management.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
