Description

Lead the planning, execution, and finalization of IT projects within defined timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute project tasks, managing resources including State personnel and deliverables.
• Consult with business stakeholders and end users to gather requirements and project input.
• Lead IT project teams through mentorship, training, coaching, and the use of project management tools.
• Manage project lifecycles using risk management, quality management, change management, and change control.
• Coordinate directly with agency staff, vendors, and other state agencies to fulfill project requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Proficiency in risk management.
• Proficiency in quality management.
• Proficiency in change management.
• Experience leading and supervising IT project team members.
• Ability to manage project reporting, templates, and communication plans.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Telecommunications domain.
• Experience working with State or Federal government entities.
