Description

You will oversee all phases of assigned glazing projects, from preconstruction through installation and close-out, ensuring budget, schedule, quality, and safety goals are met.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project planning by defining scope, schedule, budget, risk mitigation, and resource needs.
  • Coordinate with estimating and engineering teams to confirm requirements, shop drawings, submittals, and fabrication schedules.
  • Serve as the primary client interface, managing RFIs, change orders, status reports, and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor on-site progress, conduct visits, review installation quality, and ensure compliance with contract specifications.
  • Manage subcontractors and trades, issuing work orders and monitoring productivity and safety alignment.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 5 years of project management experience in construction or glazing.
  • Strong knowledge of architectural glazing, curtain wall, window wall, and storefront systems.
  • Experience managing multi-million-dollar projects with strict schedule, budget, and quality constraints.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and scheduling software (MS Project, Primavera).
  • Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job-site locations in South Florida.

Preferred Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • Specialization in high-performance or impact-resistant glazing applications.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture or a related field (or equivalent experience). Minimum 5 years of project management experience in construction or glazing, curtain-wall, storefront or façade systems preferred. Strong knowledge of architectural glazing, curtain wall systems, window wall systems, storefronts—especially in high-performance or impact-resistant applications (which is a specialization of Crawford-Tracey). Proven track record in managing multi-million-dollar projects, adherence to schedule, budget and quality constraints. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build rapport with contractors, architects, engineers and owners. Proficient with project management tools, scheduling software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications. Strong problem-solving ability, risk mitigation mindset and decision-making skills. Valid driver’s license, ability to travel to job-site locations in South Florida region as required.
