Description

You will manage technical and non-technical issues for engineering projects at the Pig Iron Caster facility.

Responsibilities

• Collect and organize production and process data through field observations and computer systems.
• Analyze weekly trends and track changes to processes, equipment, and practices.
• Interface with maintenance, construction, and contractor crews to ensure work scopes are executed accurately.
• Lead daily safety engagements with on-site contractor personnel and execute corrective actions for identified risks.
• Apply engineering principles to investigate equipment and optimize manufacturing safety, efficiency, and output.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Manufacturing Technology.
• 3-5 years of related field experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD for two-dimensional drawings.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to read engineering drawings.
• Ability to perform equipment inspections, lift 50 pounds, and climb stairs or ladders multiple times per day.
• Ability to prepare accurate job reports, tickets, and administrative forms.
