Description

Lead GIS software development and data management initiatives within the gas transmission and distribution domain.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for GIS software and geospatial data management.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams including GIS developers, data analysts, and domain experts.
• Oversee GIS software implementation ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
• Manage acquisition, integration, and quality control of geospatial data related to gas infrastructure.
• Mitigate technical and operational risks while serving as the primary stakeholder contact.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in project management.
• Proven experience managing ESRI or Schneider GIS software development.
• Direct experience within the gas industry domain.
• Proficiency with ArcGIS.
• Knowledge of PMP methodologies.
• Understanding of gas infrastructure and regulatory requirements.
• Experience managing spatial databases and data integration.
• Ability to manage complex data models.

Preferred Skills

• GIS Professional (GISP) certification.
• K knowledge of gas industry data models and spatial analysis for gas-related applications.

Education: Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or a related field.
