Description

You will manage IT projects from planning through execution and final delivery within defined timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize projects while ensuring products meet business and end-user requirements.
• Partner with department staff and vendors to fulfill project requirements and conduct technology evaluations.
• Apply project management best practices including risk, quality, change, and change control management.
• Lead and support project team members through collaboration and clear communication.
• Analyze business processes to identify and implement necessary technology changes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cross-functional project management at an enterprise level.
• Proven ability to manage project assets including Traceability Matrices, Risk Registers, and ROI analysis.
• Experience developing RACI Diagrams, Stakeholder Registers, and Communication Plans.
• Expertise in creating Project Plans, Schedules, and Project Charters.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business terms for executive audiences.
• Strong vendor selection and vendor management capabilities.
• Must be a current resident of Colorado.
• Ability to work in a hybrid capacity in Golden, CO.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with government sector projects.
• PMP, CAPM, CSM, or ITIL certifications.
• Proficiency with MS Project or Teams Workspace.
