Lead the implementation and enhancement of large-scale, critical IT projects, including the HHS enterprise licensing system (ELS).
Responsibilities
- Drive the entire project lifecycle from start to finish, ensuring delivery on schedule, within budget, and according to technical and quality requirements.
- Develop detailed Project Management Plans, including task identification, milestones, scope, resource allocation, and budget tracking.
- Coordinate with team leads to develop, adjust, and secure approval for project estimates and work packages.
- Monitor project progress and milestones, taking corrective action to maintain schedules and advising stakeholders on budget status.
- Facilitate business process re-engineering to optimize workflows and minimize custom application functions.
Required Skills
- 9+ years of project management experience leading successful implementations.
- Expertise in the five PMI project phases and their associated inputs and outputs.
- Proven ability to manage delivery cycles of 8 to 12 months.
- Experience managing multiple work efforts and prioritizing tasks across project teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills for consulting with program areas and IT teams to define requirements and resolve problems.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Knowledge of DHS, DOH, DDAP, PATCH, POCs, or PeopleFluent/VectorVMs.
