Description

You will lead product oversight, planning, and execution throughout the entire product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, change control, risk management, and quality assurance for development teams.
• Own the product roadmap, backlog prioritization, and release planning to align with business objectives.
• Translate user needs and client requirements into actionable product features and technical requirements.
• Direct resource activities and monitor project schedules to ensure timely delivery of critical path products.
• Establish and maintain quality metrics and guidelines throughout the design and development phases.

Required Skills

• Minimum 8 years of experience managing projects, or 6 years with an advanced degree.
• At least 5 years of experience specifically in Information Technology.
• Proven experience in state agency or governmental IT project management.
• Active Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience managing products in complex technical environments, including Cloud and On-Premise deployments.
• Adept at developing schedule, cost, and risk management strategies.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and SDLC processes.
• Ability to manage multiple work streams and translate complex requirements into actionable plans.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of project management theories applicable to highly complex scopes.
• Experience evaluating third-party vendor performance using established systems and procedures.
