Description

Manage complex IT project components and program initiatives using established governance processes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of large, complex technical projects to deliver work products on time and within budget.
• Maintain and manage timelines for multiple concurrent projects.
• Identify project risks and issues, proactively managing mitigation plans and resolutions.
• Collaborate with end-users, key stakeholders, and vendors to gather requirements and monitor contract deliverables.
• Create and present executive-level project communications and status updates.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience managing all phases of large and complex technical projects.
• 7+ years of experience creating project artifacts including Timelines, Risk & Issue Logs, Communication Plans, and Stakeholder Registers.
• 7+ years of experience with general IT SDLC processes.
• 7+ years of experience identifying and managing project risks and issues.
• 7+ years of experience gathering requirements from business divisions and educating staff on standardized processes.
• 7+ years of experience implementing Enterprise Systems Integration.
• 6+ years of experience leading large IT initiatives and managing team cohesion during contract transitions.
• 6+ years of experience managing large, cross-functional internal and vendor teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with executive staff and various user levels.

Preferred Skills

• PMP certification.
• Experience with State of Texas government agencies.
• Experience with multivendor or software professional services for communication service providers or enterprise customers.
