Description

You will manage project scopes, constraints, and schedules while executing defined work plans for IT initiatives within the Financial Services sector.

Responsibilities

• Perform critical path analysis and manage project risks by evaluating probability and severity.
• Develop and reassess project budgets, managing variances and reporting actual versus forecasted costs.
• Establish project governance, organization charts, and define team roles and responsibilities.
• Create transition plans, identify lessons learned, and manage project and program interdependencies.
• Negotiate tradeoffs between scope, schedule, and budget to balance multiple stakeholder needs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of project management experience using Waterfall and Scrum methodologies.
• 3+ years of project management experience within the Financial Services industry.
• Strong understanding of banking and financial services, specifically lending and payments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project, SharePoint, and Visio.
• Experience with Agile and Scrum frameworks.
• Background in Information Technology (IT) project management.
• Competency in financial tracking, reporting, and vendor/contract management.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
