Description

You will manage project lifecycles in the financial services sector, balancing scope, schedule, and budget for lending and payments initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, constraints, and schedules while performing critical path analysis.
• Manage project budgets, reassessing for variances and generating reports to compare actual versus forecasted costs.
• Develop risk and issue management plans, analyzing probability and severity to implement mitigation procedures.
• Negotiate tradeoffs between scope, schedule, and budget to balance multiple stakeholder needs.
• Create transition plans and identify lessons learned to improve future project delivery.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of project management experience using Waterfall and Scrum methodologies.
• 3+ years of project management experience within the Financial Services industry.
• Direct experience in payments and banking sectors, specifically lending.
• Proficiency with MS Project, SharePoint, Visio, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Experience with financial tracking, reporting, and vendor/contract management.
• Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum frameworks.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
• Ability to travel according to client demands.

Preferred Skills

• PMI certifications (PMP or CAPM).
• Industry-specific consulting or merger and acquisition experience.
