Description

You will manage online software development projects through all phases, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure.

Responsibilities

• Own project vehicles including schedules, detailed plans, scope statements, cost estimates, and risk logs.
• Collaborate with development teams and lead architects to determine technical direction and system design implementation.
• Manage day-to-day activities and staff to ensure deliverables remain on schedule and within cost parameters.
• Communicate trade-offs and risks to sponsors and management while driving key decisions across projects.
• Coordinate resource planning, organizational capacity, and project prioritization.
• Coach team members on software development processes and best practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Management, Project Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Experience leading Software, eCommerce, or SaaS/Cloud based projects.
• 5+ years of experience in eCommerce or Retail environments.
• 5 years of experience in a technology environment, including 2-3 years of practical project management.
• Experience engaging with Engineering teams regarding Configuration Management, Deployment tools, and Continuous Integration.
• Proficiency with MS Project or similar scheduling software and MS Office applications.
• Ability to guide multiple scrum teams concurrently and manage complex dependencies.
• Fundamental understanding of web-based systems programming and development.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to contribute directly to product design and coding.
• Experience contributing to program-level activities, including M&A.
