Description

You will manage the design and implementation of IT accessibility programs to ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage testing and remediation of internet/intranet sites and software solutions to meet WCAG 2.1 and legal accessibility standards.
• Plan and execute accessibility projects by defining scope, objectives, timelines, and budget estimates.
• Lead cross-functional teams including developers, testers, and designers to deliver project requirements.
• Develop and implement change management strategies and communication plans to drive organizational adoption.
• Monitor project performance metrics, track fund utilization, and manage risk mitigation strategies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of project management experience.
• Direct experience managing ADA accessibility programs and IT accessibility initiatives.
• Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 guidelines and compliance standards including Section 504/508, Title II of the ADA, and HB 21-1110.
• Experience leading cross-functional project teams consisting of developers, testers, and designers.
• Ability to manage project budgets, resource allocation, and risk assessments.
• Proven track record in change management, stakeholder engagement, and training execution.
• Experience with project documentation, including charters, schedules, and quality standards.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with automated accessibility testing tools.
• Background in state or federal government IT projects.
