Description

You will own the documentation, testing, and governance of the IT Disaster Recovery framework.

Responsibilities

• Document DR runbooks and recovery checklists for Tier 0 through Tier 4 applications.
• Coordinate interviews with application owners and infrastructure SMEs to capture recovery processes.
• Facilitate DR tabletop and failover exercises, including planning and testing phases.
• Audit runbooks and establish processes to maintain an evergreen DR lifecycle.
• Track and report progress, priorities, and risks to stakeholders and the Oversight Committee.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of IT Disaster Recovery experience.
• 5+ years of IT infrastructure operations experience.
• Familiarity with the application SDLC.
• High-level understanding of SQL and Oracle databases.
• Proven experience leading Business Continuity efforts.
• Ability to assess application resiliency and optimize configurations.
• Experience managing a backlog of DR improvement opportunities.

Preferred Skills

• Business Continuity certification (CBCP or CBCI).
