Description

You will manage multiple IT projects focused on cloud transition, transformation, and migration.

Responsibilities

• Manage the migration of existing applications to NIST Moderate controls and assess hosting security controls.
• Translate IT strategic goals, roadmaps, and business requirements into future state architectures by collaborating with architects, engineers, and compliance analysts.
• Develop high-level project plans and implementation recommendations to satisfy customer requirements.
• Bridge gaps in migration strategy design by addressing infrastructure and application portfolio adoption challenges.
• Oversee delivery team knowledge management activities using a knowledge server or comparable tool.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of recent experience in Cloud and IT transition, transformation, and migration management.
• Experience managing traditional hosted transition projects for n-tier enterprise architectures.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a matrixed team environment and with all levels of management.
• Proven problem-solving skills.
• Experience following established change management procedures.

Preferred Skills

• PMP certification.
