Description

Manage market risk technology projects, leading work streams and coordinating with business and technology stakeholders.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead project life cycles using Agile methodologies, including documentation, Epics, Stories, and UAT activities.
• Propose technology solutions and facilitate stakeholder agreement on Market Risk Exposure Management challenges.
• Develop prototypes using Python, SQL, Excel/VBA, and leverage Big Data platforms like Apache Hadoop for data analysis.
• Manage cost estimation, budget approval, and ensure timely resolution of defects during releases.
• Drive process improvement and policy development to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of project management experience, specifically within Market Risk or Financial Services.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Excel, and VBA.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience managing UAT.
• Experience with Big Data platforms, specifically Apache Hadoop.
• Knowledge of financial markets products and the regulatory landscape.
• Ability to manage cost estimation and budget approval processes.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in Computer Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience driving process improvement and policy development initiatives.
