Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of AI and machine learning projects within the banking and financial services domain.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, data scientists, AI/ML engineers, architects, developers, and QA teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Develop project plans, timelines, budgets, resource allocation plans, milestones, and delivery roadmaps.
• Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, change requests, and escalations to ensure timely and successful delivery.
• Work closely with banking teams across payments, retail banking, commercial banking, lending, fraud detection, risk management, compliance, and customer service.
• Ensure AI solutions comply with banking regulations, data privacy requirements, information security policies, model governance, and responsible AI standards.
• Track project performance using KPIs, dashboards, status reports, budget utilization, and delivery metrics.
• Facilitate stakeholder meetings, steering committee reviews, sprint planning, backlog reviews, and executive-level status updates.
• Manage Agile/Scrum or hybrid delivery methodologies, ensuring effective collaboration across business and technology teams.
• Coordinate AI model development, data preparation, model validation, testing, deployment, integration, and post-production support.
• Partner with data governance, cybersecurity, compliance, legal, and risk teams to address AI-related risks and controls.
• Drive continuous improvement, process optimization, automation, and adoption of AI capabilities across banking operations.
• Manage vendor relationships, third-party technology partners, resource planning, and delivery commitments.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in IT project management, program management, or technology delivery.
• Strong experience managing projects within the Banking and Financial Services (BFSI) domain.
• Demonstrated experience delivering AI, Generative AI, or intelligent automation projects.
• Strong understanding of banking processes, products, and technology platforms.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, or equivalent tools.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, leadership, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
• Experience managing project budgets, timelines, risks, resources, vendors, and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to translate business requirements into actionable technical deliverables and measurable business outcomes
