Description

Manage large-scale municipal tax, revenue collection, and accounting system implementations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage large-scale software implementation projects to ensure they remain on time and within scope.
• Develop and maintain requirements documents, project plans, and schedules.
• Monitor vendor performance against agreed milestones and manage software provider relationships.
• Coordinate with the Change Advisory Board (CAB) to ensure all tasks follow established change management processes.
• Develop communications and training documents to drive technology adoption among frontline employees.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the Information Technology field.
• At least 5 years of experience managing large-scale, multi-million dollar software application implementation projects.
• Experience documenting functional, non-functional, technical, and business requirements.
• Proficiency using ServiceNow, MS Project, and other project management tools.
• Proven ability to lead high-level focus groups, executive steering committees, and multi-disciplinary project teams.
• Experience with large-scale system implementations, specifically cloud-based technologies.
• Ability to develop both technical and user-friendly communications.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of municipal treasury operations.
