Description

You will lead complex IT project delivery for the Virginia Department of Police Information Security Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple teams through all project phases: Preselect, Initiation, Planning, Execution, Monitoring, and Closeout.
• Own the final outcome and delivery of assigned projects within aggressive timelines.
• Manage large multi-stream projects involving SaaS and IT infrastructure components.
• Oversee infrastructure tasks including server and storage deployments, OS upgrades, networking, and vulnerability remediation.
• Coordinate vendor management and cloud implementation workflows.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of project experience in IT infrastructure delivery.
• PMP certification through PMI or PM certification from VITA.
• Experience with network and server infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, and circuits.
• Knowledge of Cloud implementations and SaaS management.
• Experience managing software development methodologies, specifically Agile.
• Proven track record in IT infrastructure, networking, and software installation projects.
• Ability to work onsite in Richmond, VA, 3-4 days per week.
• Must pass a fingerprint-based background check.
