Description

You will manage the administration and maintenance of company infrastructure. You plan and implement infrastructure modifications, including additions and deletions. You create system activity plans and review control and contingency plans. You coordinate with developers and the System Support Group to resolve production problems. You troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions in coordination with the SSG. You train the team on routine monitoring activities and create new support processes.

Responsibilities

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in software IT infrastructure support.
• Proficiency in Linux and AIX, including scripting, OS hardening, and patch management.
• Experience with administrator activities and system documentation.
• Knowledge of Db2 and PostgreSQL, including SELECT queries, joins, backups, reindexing, reorg, and execution plans.
• Understanding of VMware, Hypervisors, and Storage Exposure.
• Working knowledge of ITIL processes, including Change Management and Incident Management.
• Ability to write Change Management, Incident Management, and Activity reports.

Preferred Skills

• BE, MCA, B. IT, or Graduate degree.
