Description

You will act as the Owner's representative managing MEP-related activities for general construction, interior improvements, and capital projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage MEP disciplines including Fire Suppression, HVAC, Plumbing, Electrical, Lighting, Low-Voltage, and Building Management Systems.
• Coordinate building equipment testing, startup, final commissioning, and acceptance turnover.
• Monitor contractor work against project budgets, schedules, and owner requirements.
• Interface with engineering firms, jurisdictional authorities, and operations teams to ensure smooth construction-to-operations transitions.
• Administer change order procedures, contractor progress payments, and punch list progress.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in an MEP-focused role within general contracting, design, or construction administration.
• Minimum of 2 years in a management role.
• Bachelor's degree in construction science, engineering, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Deep understanding of MEP, construction processes, and general construction terminology.
• Ability to interpret critical path schedules and technical construction manuals.
• Experience managing subcontractors and vendors directly.

Preferred Skills

• LEED NC certification.
• Professional Engineering (PE) License.
