Description

Own end-to-end delivery of large government software implementation projects, managing schedule, budget, and scope.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation aligned with contract requirements.
• Track project budget and expenditures, supporting accurate financial reporting for budgets exceeding $10 million.
• Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams, including internal, nearshore, and offshore resources, to meet milestones and commitments.
• Manage scope, risks, issues, dependencies, and change control processes throughout the project lifecycle.
• Report project status, risks, and decisions to the Engagement Manager and program stakeholders, ensuring compliance with government and security requirements.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of project management experience, including large software implementation projects.
• Proven experience managing delivery on large government implementations.
• Working understanding of technology and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience coordinating cross-functional delivery teams, including nearshore and offshore resources.
• Experience managing projects using Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred Skills

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification and Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe, or equivalent).
• Experience delivering implementations for federal, state, or local government clients.
