Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage construction projects from planning and scheduling through execution and closeout.
  • Review drawings, specifications, contracts, scopes of work, and project schedules.
  • Coordinate with superintendents, subcontractors, suppliers, architects, engineers, consultants, and clients.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and monitor overall project progress.
  • Track budgets, costs, purchase orders, billing, and change orders.
  • Prepare and manage RFIs, submittals, meeting minutes, change orders, and project documentation.
  • Monitor subcontractor performance, manpower, deliveries, and jobsite activities.
  • Identify project risks, delays, conflicts, and cost impacts and take appropriate action.
  • Participate in project meetings with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Ensure projects meet drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety requirements.
  • Assist with permitting, inspections, procurement, and project logistics.
  • Maintain effective communication between field and office teams.
  • Lead project closeout activities, including punch lists, warranties, and final documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, Project Engineer, or similar construction role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, scheduling, budgeting, and field coordination.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and scopes of work.
  • Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, clients, and project documentation.
  • Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, scheduling, and construction management software.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in commercial, residential, concrete, masonry, general construction, or related trades.
  • Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, Buildertrend, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of safety standards, quality control, permitting, and inspection processes.
  • Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • OSHA certification or other construction safety training is a plus
