Description

You will lead the Payments API development and support team, architecting merchant payment systems and managing the full software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Payments API development team through mentorship and technical guidance.
• Architect merchant payment systems and integrate merchant acquirer APIs and payment gateways.
• Implement Chip & Pin systems, POS deployments, tokenization, and encryption technologies.
• Manage the full SDLC from requirements gathering to production support using DevOps practices.
• Conduct root cause analysis and resolve defects to improve system reliability and ensure PCI compliance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Payments API development and support.
• Deep understanding of Merchant Payment System Architecture.
• Hands-on experience integrating merchant acquirer APIs and payment gateways.
• Technical knowledge of Chip & Pin, Point of Sale (POS), Tokenization, and Encryption.
• Practical experience managing the full SDLC and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of PCI compliance and payment industry standards.
• Ability to collaborate with senior architects and technical managers.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with the Java stack and Springboot.
• Exposure to FreedomPay Gateway or the travel and hospitality industry.
