Description

You will manage the implementation of a solution to meet CMS Interoperability and Patient Access (IPA) Final Rule requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage the IPA solution vendor to ensure adherence to time, budget, and contract deliverables.
• Create and maintain detailed project schedules including all tasks, subtasks, and dependencies.
• Lead regular project status meetings and manage project risks and issues.
• Develop and manage testing plans and operational readiness reviews in conjunction with vendors and State resources.
• Prepare Advance Planning Documents and monthly written project status reports using CMS required formats.

Required Skills

• At least 2 years of project management experience implementing information systems.
• Experience with information technology projects, procurement management, and the project lifecycle.
• Knowledge of change management and general CMS MMIS regulations and requirements.
• Experience managing both technical and business teams.
• Proficiency with PMBOK based disciplines and methodologies.
• Experience with MMIS or MMIS module implementation.
• Ability to utilize established project governance templates.
• Familiarity with CMS and MMIS environments.

Preferred Skills

• Facilitate communication plans for Medicaid recipients and assist with CMS communications.
