Description

You will own the end-to-end delivery of assigned projects following the Commonwealth Standard for Project Management through all phases from initiation to closeout.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical teams and business groups as a hands-on manager to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery of milestones.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, risks, and tasks while communicating progress through defined metrics.
• Coordinate with vendors, consultants, and contractors, including contract management and procurement office collaboration.
• Facilitate design workshops, document requirements and use cases, and define test objectives and plans.
• Adhere to governance requirements and coordinate with Project Management Offices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience managing large, multi-stream projects.
• Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from PMI.
• Expert knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall project management principles.
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) models.
• Experience in IT Infrastructure delivery including networking, physical plant, vendor management, and site provisioning.
• Ability to balance business and technical backgrounds to lead technology teams.
• Bachelor's degree.

Preferred Skills

• Agile Scrum Master certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, Project Server).
