Description

You will lead diverse project teams through all phases of Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid project lifecycles.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and motivate project teams to deliver value to internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage cloud-hosted SaaS implementation projects from development through execution.
• Lead business and IT resources through discovery and documentation of requirements in RFP and SOR formats.
• Apply process engineering and re-engineering techniques to project workflows.
• Blend Agile and Waterfall methodologies to suit specific project and business environments.

Required Skills

• Minimum 15 years of overall IT experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience managing large-scale projects.
• Current PMP certification from PMI or VITAs PM certification.
• Expertise in Microsoft Project, Visio, and Project Server.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Strong knowledge of Agile and Waterfall principles.
• Experience with business and technical requirement documentation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with VITAs Commonwealth Technology Portfolio (CTP) system and ECOS process.
• Knowledge of Project Management Office (PMO) methodologies.
• Familiarity with Commonwealth IT procurement processes including RFP, VITAs Statewide Contract, and CAI SOW.
