You will oversee the implementation and integration of third-party applications within an Epic EHR program.
Responsibilities
Coordinate activities with the EHR Program Director, EHR PMO Manager, Application Manager, and other project managers.
Develop business cases for approval by the Information Technology Board and Governance (ITGB).
Manage project scope, schedule, and quality within specific application areas.
Identify and manage risks, ensuring mitigation strategies are documented and status is tracked.
Facilitate communication between clients and the Office of the State Chief Information Officer, Department of Information Technology, and the DIT/Enterprise Project Management Office.
Required Skills
7 years of experience in EHR/Health IT training.
7 years of excellent English grammar and spelling for verbal and written communication.
6 years of experience managing multiple competing objectives and communicating results.
3 years of experience leading others and communicating training importance to stakeholders.
3 years of experience with state government culture, personnel, and processes.
3 years of experience with IT project management, budgeting, costing, and QA methodologies.
3 years of experience in vendor/contract management and IT procurement.
Proficiency in PMI standards, Microsoft Project, and MS SharePoint.
Experience with clinical information systems and healthcare application interoperability.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
