Description

Oversee the implementation and integration of third-party applications within an Epic EHR program.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities with the EHR Program Director, EHR PMO Manager, and Application Manager.
• Develop business cases for approval by the Information Technology Board and Governance (ITGB).
• Manage project scope, schedule, and quality within specific application areas.
• Identify and manage risks, ensuring mitigation strategies are documented and status is tracked.
• Facilitate communication between clients and state government IT entities.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in EHR/Health IT training.
• 7+ years of excellent English grammar and spelling for verbal and written communication.
• 6+ years of experience managing multiple competing objectives and communicating results.
• 3+ years of experience leading others and communicating training importance to stakeholders.
• 3+ years of experience with state government culture, personnel, and processes.
• 3+ years of experience with IT project management, budgeting, costing, and QA methodologies.
• 3+ years of experience in vendor/contract management and IT procurement.
• Proficiency in PMI standards, Microsoft Project, and MS SharePoint.
• Experience with clinical information systems and healthcare application interoperability.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
