You will lead large-scale IT initiatives and mission-critical transformations within the public sector.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Manage high-risk, high-budget IT projects through completion.
• Drive large-scale ERP and financial software implementation projects.
• Engage cross-functional stakeholders and navigate multi-agency, multi-vendor environments.
• Navigate government procurement, contract negotiation, and compliance requirements.
• Lead teams through transformational change and modernization initiatives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience managing high-budget IT projects.
• Active PMP (Project Management Professional) certification.
• Experience with ERP or financial software implementations.
• Proficiency in Agile, Scrum, SAFe, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with MS Project, Jira, ServiceNow, or Planview.
• Knowledge of IT governance frameworks such as ITIL and COBIT.
• Experience navigating state agency landscapes and government procurement processes.
• Strong executive-level communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage complex, multi-vendor environments.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of governmental accounting practices.
