Description

You will manage complex, multi-stream IT projects from inception through completion.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans covering scope, schedules, cost estimates, resource allocation, and risk strategies.
• Coordinate internal and external resources to meet milestones and deliverables.
• Communicate progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders to maintain alignment.
• Implement quality assurance processes to ensure outputs meet required standards.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to minimize negative impacts.
• Maintain thorough documentation of all project activities, decisions, and changes.

Required Skills

• PMP certification through PMI or PM certification from VITA.
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in the IT sector.
• Proven experience managing large, multi-stream, and complex projects.
• Proficiency in Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Expertise in risk management.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Business Administration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under pressure.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Virginia Information Technology Agency (VITA) PM certification.
