Description

Manage customer-facing teams and field deployment personnel to ensure project commitments and delivery schedules are met.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage project schedules, regional financials, team labor, and expense accruals.
• Analyze vendor fiber network data handover packages, including OTDR traces, CD/PMD, and span loss.
• Coordinate field teams and vendors for leased wave testing and technical support.
• Prepare deployment testing packages containing network schematics, scope of works, and site access information.
• Interface with vendors and customer support to remediate dark fiber or leased wave issues.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Telecom Network Infrastructure environment.
• Minimum 5 years in a project management or project support capacity.
• Ability to interpret OTDR, CD/PMD, OLTS, and CMAX traces and files.
• Advanced experience using EXFO FastReporter2 or equivalent analysis software.
• Strong knowledge of ISP and OSP fiber network infrastructure, layout, and structure.
• Proficiency in using generic office software.
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering subject or equivalent technical experience.
• Ability to present technical data and resolutions effectively in written and oral formats.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience operating optical fiber analysis equipment, including laser source and power meters.
• High working knowledge of EXFO Toolbox.
• Knowledge of fiber splicing techniques and inherent characteristics.
