Description

You will manage two critical infrastructure initiatives for the Enterprise Project Management Office: the migration of the Housing Development Software (HDS) from Oracle to SQL Server and the agency’s transition to Microsoft Azure Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the HDS Oracle to SQL migration, managing interdependencies between vendor partners, internal technology resources, and business stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with the database platform change and update IT and business team processes.
• Guide the Azure Cloud Migration engagement by developing communication, reporting, and stakeholder engagement plans.
• Assist in creating cost and budget management plans and track cloud usage costs for reporting.
• Document data governance and classification requirements for the cloud migration effort.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of project management experience in complex IT environments.
• Strong understanding of Oracle and SQL Server database architectures.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud migration strategies and resource planning.
• Ability to manage vendor partnerships and cross-functional team coordination.
• Proficiency in developing project roadmaps, risk assessments, and budget plans.
• Experience documenting data governance standards and classification needs.

Preferred Skills

• Background in financial or housing agency regulatory environments.
• Experience leading large-scale legacy system modernization projects.
