Description

You will manage program financial health and serve as a financial advisor to designated business units within the financial services sector.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain program financial models to support investment decisions and assess ROI.
• Coordinate the annual development of 5-year labor, operating, and capital budgets.
• Review and challenge budgetary submissions to ensure alignment with strategic direction and operational requirements.
• Monitor program performance through financial dashboards and evaluate staffing requests against authorized capacity.
• Mentor and coach junior team members to enhance departmental capabilities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in financial management, internal controls, or financial analysis.
• Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Math, Accounting, or a quantitative field; or a Bachelor's degree in a related field combined with relevant institutional knowledge.
• Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, CMA, CPP, CTP, or CFA.
• Proven ability to perform financial forecasting, budgeting, and business case development.
• Strong analytical skills for problem diagnosis, resolution planning, and execution.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ERP solutions such as SAP or PeopleSoft.
• Industry experience in electric/gas utilities, investment banking, or professional services serving the utility sector.
