You will manage program financial health and serve as a financial advisor to designated business units within the financial services sector.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain program financial models to support investment decisions and assess ROI.
Coordinate the annual development of 5-year labor, operating, and capital budgets.
Review and challenge budgetary submissions to ensure alignment with strategic direction and operational requirements.
Monitor program performance through financial dashboards and evaluate staffing requests against authorized capacity.
Mentor and coach junior team members to enhance departmental capabilities.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in financial management, internal controls, or financial analysis.
Advanced degree in Finance, Economics, Math, Accounting, or a quantitative field; or a Bachelor's degree in a related field combined with relevant institutional knowledge.
Professional certification such as CPA, CIA, CMA, CPP, CTP, or CFA.
Proven ability to perform financial forecasting, budgeting, and business case development.
Strong analytical skills for problem diagnosis, resolution planning, and execution.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with ERP solutions such as SAP or PeopleSoft.
Industry experience in electric/gas utilities, investment banking, or professional services serving the utility sector.
