Description

You manage information systems development projects and coordinate technical teams with external stakeholders.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create, assign, and monitor project team activities and reporting documents using approved software tools.
• Develop project management portfolios including project plans, task lists, risk assessments, and governance documents.
• Lead status meetings, stakeholder meetings, and Joint Application Design/Development (JAD) sessions.
• Produce detailed project documentation, briefings, and weekly accounting of hours worked by task.
• Communicate project updates and task statuses to stakeholders via verbal, email, and written formats.

Required Skills

• 7 years of experience in information systems development.
• 7 years of experience using Microsoft Project or similar software to track and maintain projects.
• 7 years of experience developing detailed project documentation and managing change management procedures.
• 7 years of experience with information security and risk management standards.
• 7 years of experience managing local and virtual teams using agile methods.
• 5 years of experience managing and facilitating external stakeholder groups.
• 5 years of experience in grant development and management.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and creating project plans, task lists, and risk assessments.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
• Project Management certification or completion of a recognized project management curriculum.
