Description

Lead Google Cloud Platform modernization initiatives, managing legacy migrations and cloud-native solution frameworks.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead solution frameworks for cloud computing and greenfield cloud-native projects.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and provide clear status reporting throughout the migration lifecycle.
• Participate in deep architectural discussions to ensure customer success and technical confidence.
• Coordinate with Google Cloud Platform and external vendors to drive project alignment.
• Develop application migration roadmaps, moving from lift-and-shift to reactive cloud-native architectures.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of total experience, including 3+ years of hands-on Google Cloud Platform expertise.
• Active Google Cloud Professional certifications (Architect, DevOps, Security, etc.).
• Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies.
• Hands-on implementation of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or Google Cloud Build.
• Proficiency in Bash and Python for shell scripting and automation.
• Solid understanding of Linux OS, multi-tier architectures, cloud networking, and storage systems.
• Experience with monitoring, logging tools, and cloud security assessment standards.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with DevOps and SRE best practices and culture.
• Experience with multi-tenant cloud infrastructures and content delivery networks.
