Description

You will document procedures and deliver training programs across Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid technology projects within the Center of Excellence (CoE) team.

Responsibilities

• Create and update job aids, templates, forms, checklists, flow diagrams, and presentation decks regarding technology project management methodologies.
• Develop, update, and deliver training programs to technology project managers through virtual and in-person sessions.
• Consult with subject matter experts and CoE members to build documentation and training content.
• Plan, execute, and track the progress of training initiatives while evaluating program effectiveness.
• Identify and implement process improvements across the portfolio and manage relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall IT experience with a focus on technology project management.
• 3+ years of experience creating procedure documentation including job aids, templates, forms, and flow diagrams.
• Proven experience creating and delivering training programs to large audiences.
• Deep knowledge of both Agile and Waterfall project management principles and practices.
• Experience working in a PMO environment and conducting audits to capture findings and patterns.
• Strong ability to simplify complex technical issues for diverse audiences.
• PMP or VITA PM certification (copy required for consideration).
• Ability to work onsite in Richmond, VA, three days per week.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within a Center of Excellence structure.
