Key Responsibilities

Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise healthcare interoperability projects.

Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies throughout the project lifecycle.

Partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, leadership, and external vendors to ensure project success.

Drive project delivery using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies as appropriate.

Facilitate project governance, status reporting, stakeholder communications, and executive updates.

Oversee implementation of interoperability solutions utilizing FHIR APIs and healthcare data exchange standards.

Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues to maintain project objectives and timelines.

Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business and technology goals.

Monitor project performance and implement continuous improvement practices to optimize outcomes.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of Program and/or Project Management experience.

Strong healthcare payer industry experience.

Proven experience managing projects involving FHIR, healthcare interoperability, APIs, and healthcare data exchange technologies.

Demonstrated success leading large-scale enterprise technology initiatives.

Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid project delivery methodologies.

Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Experience managing vendor relationships and third-party partners.

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

PMP certification.

Agile certification (CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP, or equivalent).

Advanced degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience supporting healthcare regulatory and interoperability programs
