Description

Manage complex technology projects involving software development, system configurations, and hardware deployments from initiation to closing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, execution, control, and closing for large interdisciplinary technology projects.
• Identify interdependencies, risks, and potential roadblocks while preparing alternative solutions.
• Manage project status reporting through formal briefings, written reports, and update meetings with senior leadership.
• Coordinate timelines and manage target dates via regular meetings and conference calls with all stakeholders.
• Maintain project documentation and manage budgets to ensure all deliverables meet established timelines.

Required Skills

• 7-10 years of progressive experience in a project management leadership role.
• Proven ability to lead large interdisciplinary projects and manage people.
• PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
• Experience with Agile SCRUM software development methodologies.
• Familiarity with Telecommunications and IP technologies.
• Experience managing video infrastructure upgrades and on-site equipment/speed tests.
• Strong English verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder and vendor management.

Preferred Skills

• Degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution, preferably in computer science or engineering.
