Own project execution and portfolio tracking for engineering initiatives in Wichita, KS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop project schedules using Microsoft Project and track milestones from contracting through execution.
• Coordinate cross-functional IPTs to align supply base, assembly, and engineering teams.
• Generate Earned Value Management (EVM) reports and weekly status updates for leadership.
• Analyze cost and performance data to create accurate forecasts and visual reports.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding engineering change directives and resolve execution issues.

Required Skills

• 6 to 9 years of project management experience in manufacturing, aerospace, or industrial sectors.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience with Microsoft Project for schedule development and tracking.
• Strong oral and written communication skills for cross-functional coordination.
• Ability to decompose and analyze engineering data to build Tornado charts and triage lists.
• Familiarity with SAP, CATIA V5, or 3D EXPERIENCE (GPLM) for should-costing and geometry review.
• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Manufacturing, Industrial, Production, or Mechanical Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and practices.
• Experience conducting internal audits and ensuring compliant data dissemination.
