Description

You will support the development, testing, and implementation of projects and enhancements for the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) specifically regarding member, managed care, or claims and provider reimbursement functional areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead joint application design sessions with stakeholders and document requirements.
• Develop test strategies, scenarios, and test cases based on written requirements.
• Execute and review test runs and sign off on testing components.
• Work with vendors to ensure business requirements are fully defined and tested.
• Support the development of end-user training materials and documentation.
• Perform data queries and analysis to support system objectives.
• Monitor system change execution and develop fix strategies during release stabilization phases.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in healthcare or MMIS-related environments.
• Proven experience with Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS).
• Proficiency in SQL for data query and analysis.
• Strong data analysis skills.
• Knowledge of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience working with project managers, developers, business analysts, systems analysts, and SQA analysts.
• Ability to document findings and recommend solutions independently.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in healthcare.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Agile methodology.
• Competency in HIPAA claims and payment transaction processing.
