Description

You will support development, testing, and implementation for the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS), focusing on member, managed care, or claims and provider reimbursement functional areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead joint application design sessions with stakeholders and document requirements.
• Develop test strategies, scenarios, and test cases based on written requirements.
• Execute and review test runs, then sign off on testing components.
• Work with vendors to ensure business requirements are fully defined and tested.
• Support development of end-user training materials and documentation.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in healthcare or MMIS-related environments.
• Proven experience with Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS).
• Proficiency in SQL for data query and analysis.
• Strong data analysis skills to support system objectives.
• Knowledge of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience collaborating with project managers, developers, business analysts, systems analysts, and SQA analysts.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in healthcare.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Agile methodology.
• Competency in HIPAA claims and payment transaction processing.
