Description

You will manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT projects, coordinating between stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors to ensure deliverables meet business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Identify and schedule project milestones, deliverables, and required tasks.
• Analyze and document business requirements through collaboration with sponsors, data system owners, and subject matter experts.
• Create data catalogs, outline report specifications, and define system designs.
• Maintain project documentation, including risk registers, mitigation plans, and change control logs.
• Coordinate the design, development, and testing of technical systems to ensure quality and integrity before live implementation.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of progressively responsible IT project management experience.
• Proficiency in Waterfall, Agile, or hybrid project management methodologies.
• Experience managing IT projects such as data systems or application deployments.
• Ability to extract and develop detailed requirements documentation.
• Experience conducting high-level data analysis and creating reports for diverse stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with diverse teams.
• Proven ability to manage projects of significant size and complexity.

Preferred Skills

• PMP certification.
• Experience working in state government or academic institutions.
