Description

You will manage project delivery through the entire lifecycle while facilitating Agile ceremonies and removing team obstacles.

Responsibilities

• Drive project delivery by managing plans, release schedules, resource allocation, risks, scope, and value delivery.
• Coordinate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Retrospectives, Sprint Demos, Story Refinement, and Release Planning.
• Track and communicate project progress regarding schedule, cost, and risk to stakeholders and management.
• Support the Product Owner with backlog management and prioritization.
• Monitor team velocity and project metrics to promote continuous improvement and productivity.

Required Skills

• Current PMP certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI) or VITAs PM certification.
• Current CSM certification.
• 10 years of experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) models.
• 5 years of hands-on experience with Scrum and Kanban Agile methodologies.
• 8 years of experience in mentoring, coaching, and team building.
• Ability to work onsite in Richmond, VA, 2-3 days per week.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage customer expectations and balance quality, scope, schedule, and cost.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using the SAFe framework.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Project.
