Description

You will manage environmental health and safety programs and incident investigations on-site in Pontiac, IL.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct incident investigations to determine root causes alongside section managers.
• Manage stormwater pollution prevention programs and perform routine stormwater inspections.
• Execute new hire safety training and track monthly safety and sustainability metrics.
• Follow EHS assurance manuals and complete ergonomic risk assessments.
• Collaborate with the medical team during incident follow-ups and investigations.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience.
• EHS degree or related educational background.
• Direct experience with incident investigations.
• Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Teams.
• Strong communication skills for cross-functional coordination.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Title 5, air permitting, and wastewater treatment.
• Experience with online incident management systems.
