Description

Design and maintain automation workflows for Proofpoint email security threat detection, remediation, and reporting.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automation workflows within the Proofpoint platform for threat detection and response.
• Integrate Proofpoint with other security tools to streamline incident response and threat intelligence sharing.
• Collaborate with SOC, IT, and cybersecurity teams to define and deliver automation solutions.
• Monitor and optimize email security policies and automation rules for accuracy and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across automation scripts, integrations, and platform configurations.

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Proofpoint Email Security and Threat Protection solutions.
• Strong experience in automation scripting using Python or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with Proofpoint APIs and integration capabilities.
• Understanding of email threat vectors, phishing campaigns, and malware delivery.
• Experience with SIEM platforms and incident response workflows.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Proofpoint TAP or Threat Response Auto-Pull (TRAP).
• Exposure to SOAR platforms like Cortex XSOAR or Splunk Phantom.
