You will provide security compliance and assessment support for application and infrastructure modernization projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Support the ISSO in managing system security plans and maintaining Authorization to Operate (ATO) status.
• Perform internal assessments of security controls to ensure compliance with legislation, regulation, and technical standards.
• Track remediation efforts from IT assessments and audits through Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms) and Correction Action Plans (CAPs).
• Collaborate with Enterprise Architecture and development teams to implement automated Disaster Recovery and security event logging processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of related IT security work experience.
• 5 years of experience providing security compliance for applications in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or Google).
• 5 years of experience updating and maintaining SSP/SSPP documentation.
• 5 years of experience participating in the Assessment & Authorization (A&A/ATO) process.
• 5 years of experience monitoring and testing application/system components using NIST 800-53.
• Hands-on experience managing ATO boundaries leveraging MARS-E, NIST, and HIPAA guidelines.
• Experience reviewing RFP, MOU, and MOA for privacy, security, and Business Continuity Planning requirements.
